Caught the Olympic Spirit volunteering for the London, Ontario Torch relay
Category: Goings On December 26th, 2009On Christmas Eve, the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Torch passed through my hometown of London, Ontario in an exciting relay to Victoria Park downtown.
I had the very unique experience of volunteering though the City of London as a member of the media crew. The highlight was that my position afforded me the best vantage point in the crowd of thousands to view the flame as it passed through the park.
If I was any closer, I’d have burned myself!
